Is there a fee to apply?
There is currently no fee to submit an application.
Do I need to be authorized for remote online notarization?
You must have any authorization legally required to perform the assignment in your commissioning jurisdiction.
Can I choose my availability?
Yes. Notaries can set their availability for network opportunities.
Do I have to accept every assignment?
No. Eligible opportunities can be reviewed before acceptance, subject to applicable network policies.
How much will I earn?
Compensation starts at $5 for scheduled and batched appointments or $7 for standard and on-demand appointments, plus $2 for each additional seal and $1 for each additional signer. You'll always see the exact compensation for a specific assignment before you accept it, and some assignments may vary based on applicable requirements.
Can I receive assignments from both Notary Melon and NotaryStack?
Yes. It is one shared network, although eligibility for particular assignments may differ.
What equipment do I need?
Reliable internet, a compatible computer or device, a camera, a microphone, and any other equipment required by the applicable notarization process.
How will I get paid?
Approved notaries complete payout setup during onboarding and can track eligible earnings and payouts from their dashboard.
